NOVEMBER 17, 2017 — New Sensations/Digital Sin received 32 combined nominations for the 2018 AVN Awards, including six for "The Submission of Emma Marx: Evolved," the acclaimed new sequel marking the return of the award-winning blockbuster series from writer and director Jacky St. James.

"The Submission of Emma Marx: Evolved" is nominated for Best BDSM Movie, an honor the series has won twice before with the original Emma Marx in 2014 and its first sequel "Boundaries" in 2016. "Evolved" is also nominated for Best Editing, Best Soundtrack, and Best Cinematography for Eddie Powell and Paul Woodcrest — both nominated this year for Best Director - Non-Feature for their work on Digital Sin's "Schoolgirlz."

Violet Starr, who makes her feature film debut in "The Submission of Emma Marx: Evolved," earned a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her breakout performance as Emma's bold and bratty submissive, Mariah. Co-star Van Wylde is also up for Best Supporting Actor for his recurring role as Emma's brother-in-law Ray, now frustrated and on the brink of divorce.

New Sensations picked up nominations in the polyamory category for its hotwifing movies "Young Married and Available" and "A Hotwife Blindfolded 3." It also locked down noms for hardcore offerings "My First Gangbang," featuring Samantha Rone and Alana Cruise, and "My First Blowbang" with Melissa Moore — nominated for Best Oral Sex Scene.

Digital Sin's all-girl glamour imprint The Lesbian Experience was recognized with a nomination for Best All-Girl Series and picked up noms for Best All-Girl Movie for "A Soft Touch 3" and Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Movie for "Women Loving Girls 2." Nominations were also received for Best New Series for "My Sexy Little Sister" and "Best MILF Movie for "MILF Bound."

Digital Sin placed three movies in the Best Taboo Relations category this year: "Family Friendly," "An Incestuous Affair," and "I Want My Sister 2." The studio has won the award three years running.
